The Team Building course is designed to provide basic training on the foundation of what makes up a high-performance team and by using SCUBA diving as tool to deliver the course.
The course will focus on the team development lifecycle and how to recognize when a team is a high performing team. The course is not designed to teach participants about leading highly effective teams, but to provide a solid start in learning the skills and knowledge required to be effective at being a positive contributor to high performing teams.
You and your team will arrive at the Homestead Resort in Midway, UT and be greeted with a continental breakfast as you settle in. The course will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. where we will have a brief introduction to our team and provide details for the day’s activities. The program will consist of 4 sessions and includes the following:
Lunch and snacks will be provided and the day’s events will wrap-up no later than 5:00 p.m. Participants will leave with a new perspective on the key elements that make up highly effective teams and a new perspective to the world of SCUBA.
“Team Building through scuba was a fantastic, effective, and fun way to build trust, camaraderie, and chemistry for our team. The different exercises and activities put us all in ‘uncharted waters’ and out of our comfort zone where we had to learn to work through challenges together and learn as one. Among other things, we refined our abilities to prioritize tasks, divide responsibilities, stick to those responsibilities, and leave no one behind. I would highly recommend scuba as an activity for any team looking to function at an even higher level.”
